Question

Locked

Toshiba Satellite A35

By mikeadams1137 ·
It will only power on when plugged into an AC powersupply. It cannot function, lights won't even come on, when it's just the battery, even if it's been plugged in all day.

The battery seems to not be keeping the power, I am going to order a replacement battery, wanted to know what everyone thought before I did that!

Thanks

Mike

Battery! From what you described, you have hit it on the head. The battery has reached its life end. Go ahead and order a replacement.

Before you replace it....

Try this, it helped bring my battery back to life, even if it was a week. Wrap it in freezer bags and put it in your freezer for a day. Let it thaw out for a day. Make sure you clean the pins(connectors) on the battery before you put it back in to your laptop. Then put the battery back in to your laptop and then re-charge it.
Hope this helps you. But a good backup battery is also needed.

Please post back if you have more problems or questions.
