Gearing up for Derby week yet? Working on your stockpile of mint and bourbon?

Have a good weekend.

Excellent job, Sonja!

Appreciate all the hard work you do! We FINALLY received significant rainfall
in central Oklahoma! Much welcome relief, though not quite a "drought buster"!
Looking like the weekend may be a pretty nice one too, warm weather and all!
Ya'll c'mon down! Have a great weekend everyone!

Significant Rainfall is an understatement

by GSG In reply to Excellent job, Sonja!

My parents have been visiting my brother and nephews in Oklahoma and said that it rained for 2 days straight and the whole yard is flooded!

We had close to 5 inches total over about a 5 day period!

After some 3 years of below average annual rainfall, it will take quite a bit to catch up and fill some of our lakes and ponds back up!
Hmmmm, dare I ask...WHERE in Oklahoma? I'm located southwest of OKC, roughly 50 miles or so, unless I'm at work, then closer to 70 miles. If anyone is really interested, I'll tell you the town, hehe!

5 inches in 5 days

Isn't even a light drizzle.

Just enough rain to need to use the wipers occasionally when you are driving but not enough to get the front screen clean.

Here light rain is considered as an inch an hour though it has fallen at an inch a minute several times in the last couple of years. :0
