Mine was all alien abduction style research... I just flagged as part of the process of checking what they're up to, what makes them tick. Of course, that makes it seem less like work, too
The mechanism behind the 'Power Users' list needs a serious overhaul.
- The total number of posts by a member should weigh less.
- Answers to Q&A should count twice as much as Discussion posts; answers marked as helpful should count four times as much. Water Cooler posts shouldn't count.
- '+1' votes should weigh twice as much as '-1' votes.
- Recent activity by a member should be weighted more than past participation. Activity in the last two weeks should weigh twice as much activity in the 2-4 week window, and four times as much activity over a month old. Activity over three months old shouldn't count at all.
- Members whose average more than one spam per minute in a five minute period should be ineligible for 'Power Users'. Indeed, their membership should be terminated.
Thank you very much for your excellent response to my post, your post anyone elses post, or perhaps to no post whatsoever.
No matter which case it is was or will be, feel free to take advantage of the special offer on willy warmers, described on my site www.IwillScrewUpYourMachine.com.
Reagrds Not really me, just in case, I get identified as a spammer and become famous amongst TR users.
Answers to Q&A should weigh in at ten times what a Discussion post counts - at least.
Members who post more than five pieces of spam in a week should be dismembered, and have their membership terminated. Leaves a little leeway for people posting legit links and getting accidentally flagged for it. Hopefully the PTB can tell if someone maliciously starts flagging a FNM session.
BTW: I have this feeling that the power users list was terminally broken at some point two weeks ago. I remember seeing Mr. Kaelin at #2 all of a sudden, then two hours later it was yarinsiz... it's dead, not updating anymore. That's my wild guess, and I'm sticking to it.
But in that particular case they should at the very least remove it's posts. I just looked and they are still there. :0
Personally I favor a "Slow Painful Demise" of the offending people and Ideally Rock Star Status with a Live Web Cam Feed as they slowly die in "Extreme Pain & Suffering."
But in the mean time I think we should be able to have a Disgusting Conversation on how we want to dispose of that yarinsiz thing.
Personally it holding a Drain Plunger and running around calling out Exterminate may scare little children but it doesn't have any effect here.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
