I am having trouble using the DTS to import data from Dbase III into SQL Server 7. I can import it alright if the memo field is deleted but I cannot alter the original as it is currently being used. I can also import it fine into Access 97 but I need to have this automated to import into SQL Server nightly. I am getting the following error while setting up the import:
ERROR SOURCE: Microsoft Jet Database Engine
ERROR DESCRIPTION: Unexpected Error from External Database Driver (8961).
andI can not proceed any further. I do not need the memo field after the import. Any suggestions?
