I have a website, and when I attempt to access it, I receive a message indicating that I’ve been restricted due to cookie settings. How can I resolve this issue?

Note: link to website (a webshop for leather stuff) removed by moderator as spam.

That’s a rather vague message. Ask your webmaster to make it more clear. After all, it’s his coding that gives that error.

Does it still appear if you delete all cookies from your browser? Then it seems an error on your site, because it creates a cookie restricting something without asking you and telling you.

From my experience, the issue with cookies in an internet site are typically due to pop-up blockers on the other computer’s browser and not the internet site itself, short of embedded malware stored on the site itself. I would suggest trying multiple internet browsers to help narrow down the issue.

For instance, some internet sites will not work well with an Apple internet browser but work just fine with a different browser. I worked for a major banking debit card processing site for a few years. When Apple users couldn’t access their banking sites, it was resolved most of the time by using the Chrome internet browser for example.
