troubleshouting with nfs for linux

i am working on linux network.my server is linux 7.0 and i want to conect linux7.1 workstation with server.when i try to mount on server it is not mounted.i want to upgred linux version on my client(w/s) side so pl. give me some idia.

Can you please give more information on your problem ?
Did you run rpc daemon at your server ? How did you configure your server ?

u r not explain the steps what u have done for resoving the problem.

but it seems not a big problem
there is some steps for mounting the network file system


1. add the file system u want to export eg /usr /home
# vi /etc/exports
/usr/home
2. now restart ur nfs services
# /etc/rc.d/init.d/nfs restart

3. go to the client side and mount the exported file system
# mount ip_add_server:/usr <mountpoint>
# mount ip_add_server:/home <mountpoint>
