TR'S HOT TOPIC: THE GREATEST OPERATING SYSTEM OF ALL TIME!

It's that time of year again, the time to declare Windows the greatest
operating system of all time. Of course, such assertions always bring
out claims of Linux's superiority, and counterpoints that Linux is
inadequate for the home user. It seems the only point of agreement
among the TR faithful is that Mac OS stinks.

OS/X rules

by DC Guy In reply to TR's Hot Topic: The great ...

Hey, I'm a member of the "TR faithful." I think Windows should be outlawed. The reason that most IT professionals love Windows is that it was designed by geeks for geeks, without stopping to wonder if people who aren't geeks might ever need to use a computer. It's counterintuitive and user-hostile for the other six billion people on this planet. Windows is a delicate laboratory prototype, OS/X is a consumer appliance.
