trsmain commnad

I would like to know

1) Is the 'trsmain' command be used in non mainframe environment e.g. Windows, Solaris, Linux and etc?

2) Is the terse file readable in non mainframe environment?

Easy answer is I don't know

But it's doesn't work in a Windows Environment.

As for Solaris and Linux/BSD I'm not so sure.

It's not something that I ever tried even by mistake over the years on any of those systems.
