Trust in W2K Domain to NT4
Domain #2 is BIZNETCHAS - 1 W2K (Dispatch server)
There is an external trust between the domains connected via a T1 circuit.
The domain SCOTT has a NT4 server in it. The NT4 has shares on it. Users in the Scott domain can browse and map to the NT4 OK. The BIZNETCHAS domain has shares also that Users in the SCOTT domain can access. Users in the BIZNETCHAS domain with W2K pcs can map to the SCOTT/DISPATCH server but not the SCOTT/CHAS2 (NT4)server unless there is a? /USER:domain/user password? statement on the net use line. Win98 pcs cannot map to Chas2. Users form Scott can browse thru Network Places to BIZNETCHAS/CHAS3 but users from BIZNETCHAS cannot browse to SCOTT. The CHAS3 server cannot browse past the domain name in Network Places but WIN98 pcs in BIZNETCHAS can browse to the servers but cannot proceed past clicking on CHAS2.
