Trying to tear down my Samsung Galaxy S2. Need Help.

    by uprived ·

    Hello.

I just bought a second hand Samsung Galaxy S II GT-i9100 and want to take it apart to clean out the dust inside.

I watched tutorials on Youtube how to do it and followed a guide on iFixit https://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Samsung+Galaxy+S+II+Teardown/5861

But when I try to pry the back panel off, I see a piece of the ciruitboard directly beneath the audio jack is stuck to it and bends when I try to pry it off. So I need some guidance before I try again unless I risk damaging the phone.

Here is a link to a photo I took of the problem in question. https://postimg.cc/xctNf3Z8

    Please help.
    Thanks.

      of the iFixit tutorial say’s
” Don’t forget to unglue the volume flex and power flex, they are attached to the motherboard. Otherwise the motherboard won’t come out easily like it should.”

Now you should do a search for ” How to unglue the volume and power flex on the Samsung Galaxy S2 ?”

or Bob could just tell you how lol…

But when I do, I’m reading ifixit and watching YouTubes.
