Trying to Unsubscribe to TechRepublic

By acalistro ·
I want to be taken off of the mailing list for all TechRepublic emails. Any ideas how I can do this, as it is not obvious in any of the "My Account" features.

Use the Newsletters link

by Jay Garmon Contributor In reply to Trying to Unsubscribe to ...

You'll find it in the top navigation bar, third from the right. This will bring up a page with all your newsletter subscriptions preselected. Just uncheck all the boxes and click the Update My Account button at the bottom of the page.

You'll receive one final e-mail to confirm your unsubscriptions.

Bald faced lie

by otto In reply to Use the Newsletters link

The post is a bald faced lie. On the naviagtion pane, third from the right is "Software" and that has no option to "unsubscribe" anywhere.

More importantly, there is no option to be removed completely from TechRepublic.

You people are corrupt and I do not want to have anything to do with you. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Get me the **** off your site and quit spamming me.

need help to cancelany way that you can fix the problem. Now I only got one e-mail on Monday and none over the weekend. I also saw someone e-mailed me and it didn't show up on the e-mail list at his mothers house. I would apreciate this getting fixed soon. I just had a new great neice and am anxious to talk to her. thank you very much.

Unsubscribing to ALL of TechRepublic Junk

by followersofHim In reply to Trying to Unsubscribe to ...

I reported it as SPAM & Unsubscribe in Firefox Browser; then I tried one of the directions from the answer blog in TechRepublic, but it was different than the options I had & sent me to an Error Page; so I tried again:
1. Log on into your account 'My Account'
2. Uncheck anything you see checked.
3. Scroll down to the bottom, there's an Unsubscribe box for ALL of TechRepublic; check it!
4. Click on 'Save'

4/16/2012 Mon. Re-specified
1. Report as 'SPAM & Unsubscribe' to Browser (I hoped my FireFox would block or unsubscribe it)
2. One blogger???s directions took me to an 'Error Page'
3. Try some of the directions: Log into 'My Account'
4. Then Scroll down to Subscriptions
5. Uncheck anything that's checked as you scroll down to the bottom
6. Check Unsubscribe to all TechRepublic
7. Click on 'Save'
