Tsweb - (111) Connection refused

By amandae ·
I am unable to connect to our terminal server from inside the network and receive the message -
'(111) Connection refused '.

I was able to do so last week, but since then have put various security patches onto the terminal server before allowing people to Tsweb in from outside the network and now cannot connect.

Can anyonne point me in the direciton of any known issues, or checks on my terminal server to ensure it is set up correctly.

Thank you.

Sounds like port 80 is being blocked (possibly by your isa?). Try telneting from a different port like this:

"telnet <ipaddress> 3389"

If you can do this then it's most likely a port 80 block and you will either need to open the port up or use a different port that it open.

Cheers.
