turn on my dell laptop stays on windows logo.

After I repair my laptop in win XP, the installation was completed but turn the computer stays on windows logo and unable to continue.

If you did a Repair Install of XP like that described here

If the computer is actually working it must work and open Windows. If you didn't follow the steps given in the M$ Knowledge Base Article I'm unsure of what is happening as I don't know what was done.

But if you used a System Makers Recovery Disc to "Repair" XP it would have installed a new copy of XP to the system and you should be looking at the NB as it came new and need to enter the Product Key and Activate Windows.

Of course if the NB has a Hardware problem the Repair what ever this was couldn't have completed so then anything is possible but until you fix the Hardware issue you will not get any further in attempting to boot the system up.

why you found it necessary to "repair" your XP installatino to begin with?
