TVU Player

By draggon_9 ·
Is there a way or program to make the TVU player work better? I've already updated my drivers, would a download accelerator help? Thanks

But if you read the Spiel on their Web Site about getting started here

You will see that they claim

Getting Started

TVU networks offers a free live TV service that you can watch on your Windows PC over a broadband Internet connection. This service is dedicated to bringing you TV that you can't get from cable or satellite, including news, sports, music and movies from around the world.

To watch TVU, you'll need a Windows PC (2000, XP, or Vista) and a broadband Internet connection (DSL or cable modem, for example).

There are two ways to watch: right here on our website in the watch tv section, or for the best viewing experience, via our free TVUPlayer application that you download here.

We have a group of forums for fun and for technical support. Anyone can read the postings, but if you want to post, just create an account and sign in.

There's also a TV guide. We're trying to build up a global TV guide of all the world's channels, so not every channel in the TV guide is available on TVU.

Want to broadcast? Anyone can be a broadcaster on TVU. All you need is a PC and a broadband Internet connection. Read more about that in our Broadcaster section here.

It seems to be more related to Available Bandwidth over any form of High Speed Connection. So understandably the faster your Internet connection the better the service should be. But I think for more informed responses you should look on their Forums for help or ask there
