Two-Sided Arrow Icon in Outlook

By kylerenke ·
There are two-sided arrows on some folders in Outlook. Have anyone ever seen that before, or would anyone know what it means or what?s caused it? I?m guessing it has something to do with syncing, perhaps blackberry? I don?t think it?s an Exchange thing, however.

It?s appeared on a client?s computer and I am not sure why. I?m stumped! Ideas?

Guessing only, now ...

3 of them are named "Sync Issues" -- that is "Sync Issues," "Sync Issues1," & "Sync Issues2". Considering that 'sync' is often an abbreviation of "synchronize" or "synchronization" my best guess is that all folders with those double arrow indicators have sync issues, meaning they aren't properly exchanging information with their server. Have you seen any error messages about sync issues or your mail server?

They are an "Exchange Thing"........

Those folders are created by the Exchange Server to store messages relaged to synchronization issues. More than likely, if you're not cleaning them out, they get full and another is created. Talk to your Exchange Administrator to resolve the issues listed in them.

Wow, lots of unread mail there

As for the 'sync issues' that is Outlook 03. Everytime it cannot sync with the server for any reason it creates entries, and later more folders.
The issue should be resolveable.

As for the arrows, no idea, but it does appear on there as if they are folders that get synchronized. That is a common graphic for it.
