Ok I’ve done some searching and I haven’t found anyone with this problem at all.
There are multiple profiles on my vista ultimate x64 machine. Only one of these profiles functions 100% correctly the others have problems.
If UAC is turned on none of the others can:
-access a network
-Side bar is corrupt and displays x’s in the gadget boxes
-Turn UAC on/off (even though they are administrators)
No matter if UAC is on or not all of the other profiles’ security centers state that no AV can be found (AVG is installed) and that Windows Defender is off even though it will start up and scan if asked.
I have already tried the winmgmt /salvagerepository and the /resetrepository solutions and they did not work. I have also tried to delete and recreate additional profiles which also did not work. Please help.
