Unable to add contact

I am trying to forward a contact from a Outlook 2002 client to a Outlook 2000 client. When the Outlook 2000 client receives the contact, they are unable to save the contact into their Outlook application. The ‘save as’ option is greyed out. What am I doing wrong?
