Unable to add contacts in MSN Messenger!

By an_it_guy ·
Hi,

I am unable to add contacts to my MSN messenger. Following are some details:
1- The contactlist is not more than 60;
2- On my hotmail account, the address-book doesn't contain more than 100 addresses;
3- Have tried using MSN messengers from different computers & different net connections -all gives the same results.
4- I have deleted a few contacts from my list, still am not allowed to add!

Any ideas what could be the problem?!
Thanks,
Ash.

Do you get a specific error message? If so, what is it?

Cheers.

As I mentioned earlier, I did check on my hotmail account on the website hotmail.com; which doesnt have upto 100 addresses as well- still the problem exists.

Contact ms about the problem. Your profile could be messed up. Sometimes they can fix it and sometimes they can't. Another option is to use something like MessengerDiscovery. Check it out here:

Hi 'ReWrite'; had forgotten this question pending. The problem is now resolved. Your first guess was right; it had been creating problems since there were more addresses in contact list.
Thankyou for your support.
Cheers.
