After reading a review of Tor in TechRepublic???s Online Newsletter, I thought I???d give it a try.
I went to Tor”s website (https://www.torproject.org/download/download-easy.html.en) and clicked the download button.
All I get is an error message stating that the file could not be downloaded.
I tried adding the URL as an allowed site under the Privacy tab (IE9) as well as adding the site as a trusted site under the Security tab. Neither action allowed the download.
I am using Windows 7 Ultimate (x64) with Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 as my firewall and AV program (is there something THERE that I need to change ??? if so, what?)
If that is not the cause, can anyone suggest how to circumvent this problem?
