unable to enable/disable services in win2k DC

Hi everybody,

I enabled/disabled a couple of services in our DC Win2k with sp3, while the McAfee is running. Now the system is very slow and I cannot able/disable any services as it times out. When I click the right mouse on the Network neighborhood, system does not display the network neighborhood property sheet. This is the second time I am experiencing this problem. Last time I had to
reinstall (repair) win2k, which is quite cumbersome. Is there any other way to
revert the system to back to normal state, so that I can enable/disable services and view the property sheet of network neighborhood.
