By amr.abdelkader ·
How can I direct IIS to a different drive than C during the installation of win 2000 server using a sif file. is there a way to format another drive other than the c with ntfs in unattended install using sif files?

Should not be a problem. Just edit the sif file and replace the C with the drive letter of your choice.
The command line may look like this;
WINNT /U:A:\UNATTEND.TXT /S:G:\WIN2000DIST /T:CMeaning here that the distribution folder is on G: and going to C:
You can use your attantent text, rename it
to a sif and put into drive A: during the installation. Best thing to do is use the Setup Manager Wizard to make your unattended text file and then rename it to sif.
