    uncontrollable font resizing in webbrowsers

    by zeb.pike ·

Hello everyone, I’m new to here but I have a sporadically recurring problem that I can’t resolve.

Occasionally my web browser will uncontrollably start resizing the fonts on screen making them large to the point of being able to only see one character. It’s just as if I’d held ctrl and while using the scroll wheel.

This happens in Firefox and Opera, it doesn’t in IE but it will “bounce” the image as if I were moving the scroll bar.

I don’t believe I have a virus, I’ve uninstalled all non system programs and files and run a virus scan, nothing shows up.

I think the issue may be with my Logitech wireless keyboard, could that be the case? And if so is there anything I can do?

I apologize if this has been asked and answered but I couldn’t find anything in the forum that related.

      Is the mouse wireless too?

The only way to tell if the keyboard/mouse is causing the problem is to change them out to, preferably, a wired set. Wireless things sometimes just have a glitch. Low batteries can cause it. Signal interference can cause it. Lots of things can cause it. You can’t nail down the problem unless you test with something else.
