    Undeliverable Emails

    Locked

    by m307 ·

Can someone please help me? Please read carefully. This one is weird. I have Small Business server 2000. I have 18 workstations, with 14 of them running Windows XP and Office XP 2000 Pro. The other 3 run windows 2000 and office 2000 pro and 1 workstation with Windows XP and Office 2003.

That one computer with office 2003, for some strange reason will not send mail to two employees. Everyone on can send mail to everyone except this one person who is running office 2003, cannot send mail to only two people. I get this message:-

The e-mail address could not be found. Perhaps the recipient moved to a different e-mail organization, or there was a mistake in the address. Check the address and try again.

If the person logs into one of the other functioning systems can he then send mail?

If so, install the XP and Office Service Packs.

What service packs are on the Exchange server? Exchange 2000 does require some to support Office 2003 users.

Make sure that the person using Office 2003 doesn’t have those two users listed in their local address book. This causes problems a lot of the time because the users will put someone in their personal address book with the wrong email address and even if the same person is listed somewhere else Exchange will get confused.
