I accidently used fdisk in dos on the wrong hard drive and deleted all of my partitions is there any way to do it? I do have the program partition magic could I possibly use that program somehow to undo the damage?

Once you have deleted the partitions with FDISK there is nothing you can do short of sending to a data recovery specialist and incurring a huge cost for a service that may not even work for you. Unfortunately the recovery console will not work for you because it would only recover a corrupted installation of Windows and since the partitions have been deleted, you do not have an installation of Windows.

If the drive has only one partition, this is not a serious problem.
You said partitions, so I assume there are several.
The information is still on the hard disk, fdisk only changes the partition table, it does not format, or even worse, "Zero Fill", the drive.
There are disk recovery programs that read the disk "raw data" (Disk Investigator), the problem is time consuming, and the free ones are not that good.
The more likely option is, Partition Table Doctor 1.0 or similar.
How much do you remember about the partition sizes, etc. ?
This program is a free download from www.cnet.com
(Cnet is the parent of TechRepublic.)

If you knew the exact sizes of the partitions.
If you have a partitions editor.

I have used drivepro to restore a single partition that
was just deleted. Never multiple partitions though.

Good Luck Lee
