Is there a way to uninstall and reinstall Internet Explorer?
I am now having problems with IE on 2 computers. One computer won’t populate pop-up or smaller windows that I select, the frames come up, but all I get is an hourglass and an empty window.
My other computer won’t get Windows updates now. I can get to the page, but when I try and download updates, it will sit here all day if I let it without retrieving or installing the updates.
I have tried emptying my cache, I have tried changing the security settings, I have tried patching both computers, I have tried everything I can think of to fix this with no luck. The only thing that I haven’t tried is to uninstall it since it can’t be completely uninstalled through add/remove programs.
Does anyone have any information on problems like this?
