Uninstalling IE 7 from Vista

Is it possible to remove IE7 from Vista and replace with IE 6?

Now why would you need to do that?

IE7 works fine, why would you want to remove it? You will have to give a good reason other than "I do not like it".

I don't even know if IE6 will work on Vista

You need to remember that Vista is different to XP and a lot of XP software will not run on Vista. So as IE6 was never written for Vista I'm not even sure that it will run.

If you don't like IE at all there are many different Browsers that you could use Fire Fox, Opera, Safari just spring to mind all of which are free and easy to install and use.

Also IE6 lacks a lot of the Security that is built into Vista so if it actually runs on Vista you will be opening the computer up to faster infection than it should suffer.

You will need IE on Vista if only to perform Updates with.

No, it is not possible. You can try either Firefox or if you need to test web pages on IE6 try IETester:
