Uninstalling Linux Partition

by steve.doig . Updated 25 years, 7 months ago

G’Day,

I’m running Win98 with a Linux partition. I have LILO installed in the MBR.
I deleted the linux partitions without doing anything about LILO, causing LILO to partially boot, displaying LI only. I can’t get into windows at all, even though its the default boot option.

How do I remove LILO from the MBR?

I have booted from an old win95 HDD, but it won’t recognise the win98 partitions on the original HDD. Is this because of fat32?

Thanks for some help.

Cheers,

Steve.
