    Universal TV control

    I have a smart, (Samsung) TV. The TV sources are two Humax PVR/Receiver’s, a disk player, and a VCR. So, we have plenty of controllers! My wife struggles to understand how to deal with this tech.
    I’ve bought a cheap WiFi to IR sender. I’ve had some luck with the device to control one of the Humax boxes but what I’d like to achieve is an app on my Android tablet, (and my wife’s Ipad) that can run a series of events, so I can request for instance, change source to box 2 and select a channel, all from one dab on the screen. I’m sure people must have already done this. Can you please give me any ideas or links to help me?

      Maybe consider smart home gadgets? I believe Google Home and Amazon Echo can do this and more for your home.

      Why don’t you choose a simpler way? Use Mobdro as the app to stream from your phone to Samsung TVs easily and then you can watch TV online.
