then trying your hand. I would recommend trying out one of the smaller
live Linux distributions, such as Puppy or Slax ( I prefer Slax ) simply
because it is easy to reset to a pristine condition is you farkle something
up. Head to, read the forum posts to get tips on how to
get things running with your particular setup, then download the preferred
medium, I have tended to prefer the USB version because I can carry it
with me and use it on any system with a USB port, and USB thumb drives
fit comfortably in my pocket.
