Unwanted Toolbars

By Shanghai Sam ·
I recently got into a web site and it downloaded some unwanted search toolbars that load whenever I open internet explore, one is labeled oroucrprtrq and it asked to search for everything, including porn or gay men, the other comes on the bottom of the screen and it does the same, I suspect it asked me to download fake Windows Updates, How can i eliminate these forever, I don't want my little kids to find them and get curious before I can shut them off, they keep coming back when you open another explorer, I have Windows XP home

Some suggestions ...

I have experienced similar problems with downloaded stuff from websites.
First look in "Add/Remove Programs." I have found some listed there, and once you have deleted any part of the program manually, this option won't work.
Secondly, you can select "Find" from the "Start Menu," and you may be able to locate the program or command and delete it. A word of warning: if you find an unrecognised file with an .exe extension, DON'T OPEN IT, because this may really activate the nuisance download.
