This is something that is driving me a bit crazy. I have a website running on ISS 6 using WSS 3 SP1. If I go to the address, everything resolves correctly, however the IP address appears in the address bar instead of the URL itself. Any ideas?
Thanks

In the case of someone accessing the website from externally you will need to have a domain name associated to your IP address.
If you already do have a registered domain name log into your account from whom ever you use and check that the entry is matching up to your IP address, and that it isn't expired.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
