What do you mean with “third party”? Not made by Google or not coming from the Play store? That are quite different things.

Apps coming from the Play store are more safe then apps you download from other sites. So the best practice is to not do that.

Is this on a mobile phone, tablet, laptop, desktop computer? What version of Android is currently in use? What do you need/want to do?

You can simply search for the apps you want and download them straight from the Play Store. Third-party apps like Facebook, Viber, and WhatsApp are just a few of the many that are available on the Play Store website.

I’m not sure exactly what you mean by “third party apps,” but I believe you probably mean apps that are not available through the Play Store or possibly just different app stores (third party app stores)

Yes, you can use third-party mobile apps on any Android device, but it’s important to be cautious. Download apps from reputable sources like Google Play Store and read app reviews before installing. Use antivirus software and be mindful of app permissions.
