ok so let’s get all the basics out of the way,
-no it does not have a lock/data switch
-none of the registry methods work
-doesn’t work on another computer
-it has two partitions, one is empty, can’t do anything to it
-can’t do anything to it in computer management except view it
– can’t format, can’t format in safemode
– I’ve tried 3 different third party softwares that are suppose to remove write protection and format, and even low level format. NOTHING WORKS.
-this 32 GB usb was sent to me from DELL, it was to reinstall the operating system
they have some high level write protection or maybe I’m not doing the reg-edit right
I’m using windows 8, please help.
