    use a 3.5 inch hard drive

    i removed 2 hard drives Hitachi HDP725032GLA380, and Seagate 1TB Desktop HDD Hard Drive – Internal (ST1000DM003) from and old computer how do i get the date off of it?

      Two options:
      1. Put them as internal drive into another PC.
      2. Put them in an external case and use via USB. A 3.5″ drive needs a case that has its own power adapter. Buy one with the right slot, either IDE or SATA. When in doubt, take the discs with you when you visit your local computer shop. They might even be willing to put the discs in the cases, although that might cost you a few dollars more than just buying the case and doing it yourself.
