Use of favorites in Microsoft Edge
I have both a Mac and a PC with Windows 10 Pro and several phones and tablets.
I recently started using Microsoft Edge, and thus far the transition has been easy. I have synced the bookmarks to my IE 11 so whatever is in one place is in another. I have also synced IE 11 favorites to Chrome and Safari so I have all of my bookmarks/favorites on my Mac, iPhones, iPads, and Android tablet. One thing I can't figure out is, in IE 11, Chrome and Safari if one has several bookmark folders, and they are listed alphabetically, in order to jump down the list to a specific favorite on IE 11, Chrome and Safari you can drill down to it, on Edge it appears the only way to do this is to use the arrow down. For instance, I have a folder for all of my Social Media (Facebook, Twitter etc.). On IE 11, Chrome and Safari if I type the letter "S" it will jump me down to the folders that begin with the letter "S" and then I can arrow down from there, or I can type "So…" until the “Social” folder is highlighted and hit enter. Is this possible in Edge? I have not found a way to make this work.
