Use of Prolog

By sraristonusn ·
I will be doing a lab using the non-procedural language Prolog. Is there anyone out there currently who uses this language on a regular basis? What are its uses? What would be available if I want to delve deeper into this language or even LISP? Thanks to all.

Use of Prolog

University professors are very interested in these languages, specially those into Robotics. Prolog is used in artificial intelligence programming. Prolog is a logic programming language and LISP is a list processing language. A text to consult could be "Principles of Programming Languages" by MacLennan. Another place to get some information could be the web pages of universities with a computer science department (such as MIT or UTEP), there might be a professor who is doing research using Prolog or LISP.
