User authentification with Squid (LDAP)

Hi all,

I am trying to setup user authentification with Squid proxy server.

I have figured out that I have to use an external program to do the LDAP authentication and then compile the functionality into Squid to use the proxy_auth rules in the squid.conf

What I am after is a step by step doco on how to do this.
