Using a Access 97 file with Access 2002

By qb4006 ·
I have a Access 97 file that I want to work with using Access 2002. Specifically, I would like to create a new report and on the file but I can't seem to figure it out.

I able to do it on a new 2002 file but not on this old 97 file.

In order to create new objects you will have to convert the file to 2002 and then, if neccessary, re-save as a 97 .MDB.
