Using a VM Snapshot in Ivanti Landesk

Hi All,

Just wondered if anyone has tried using a snapshot from a VM tool and importing it as a template in Landesk.

Essentially my task is to deploy a brand new Win 10 image, with the current tools we have, including all drivers and updates. I was thinking the easiest way to do this would be by spinning up a VM in either VirtualBox or VMWare and getting all updates, drivers etc installed. Then taking a snapshot and installing it in Landesk. I’ve never used Landesk before so am not 100% sure how this would work so wondered if anyone had any experience. The snapshot method makes it easier as in the future we can just keep updating Landesk with newer snapshots.
