Using a work VPN through a personal VPN?

    Locked

    by tmwday ·

    Hi,

I wanted to know if it was possible to use a standard VPN service (e.g. Mullvad) through a VPN router and then for my work VPN (OpenVPN via Azure VPN) on my work laptop (which connects to the VPN router) to work properly?

Currently I get ‘Page names cannot be resolved’ when trying to access pages the work VPN gives access to; I’m guessing this is related to VPN passthrough. I had read elsewhere that setting up a VPN server in bridged mode at my home might get around this issue but unsure!

Let me know if you have any solutions!

I rarely see that work. For now when we need folk to VPN in, we supply either the setup document or if they are in the office do the setup for them.

      Hi,
Yes, you can do it but I’m not sure it will work 100%.
You may need to use a FlashRouter and manage the connection through the FlashRouters Privacy App.

The simplest method to connect to a Business VPN and VPN Provider at the same time is by using a FlashRouter. Integrated with exclusive FlashRouters Privacy App, managing a connection to any reputable VPN provider like NordVPN, ExpressVPN, or Surfshark is a breeze.
