Hey all,
I am managing IT in a small company, about 70 workstations plus a few laptops. What I am attempting to do, is lock down specific MSIE extensions (such as toolbars, etc.). I know through GPO I am able to disable all extensions and then allow specific ones. However, last time I tried doing that, I ran into trouble with many users, specifically with ones from accounting, who usually use smart cards and do their work through some websites that require 3-rd party extensions. I toyed around much with this, and it seemed I allowed all necessary extensions through, yet, it still did not work.
So… Is there any way to block specific extensions? Any ideas?
