Using NeroCMD.exe with Nero Express

By BlackFlash ·
Is there a switch command that will allow you to backup subdirectories using the nerocmd.exe command? I am attempting to use the following commands in a file called backup.bat:

"c:\Program files\Ahead\Nero\NeroCmd.exe" --write --drivename D --real --detect_non_empty_cdrw --create_iso_fs --iso Backup C:\backup\*.* --force_erase_cdrw --speed 10

For some Nero will not allow me to backup subdirectories within the target folder, only files. Does anyone know why?

I use this from a batch file and it seems to work ok. Try using this format and see how you get on.

It could just be the double quotes around the souce path thats causing your problems.

set driveletter=%1

set isoname="Backup"

set nerocmd="c:\program files\ahead\nero\nerocmd.exe"

set files_to_backup="..\Files\*.*"

%nerocmd% --load --drivename %driveletter%

%nerocmd% --write --detect_non_empty_cdrw --no_error_log --drivename %driveletter% --real --no_user_interaction --recursive --iso %isoname% %files_to_backup%
