Using Outlook 2003 with Office XP

Is Outlook 2003 compatible for use with Office XP? I’m running Windows 2003 server and Exchange 2003, but my desktops are all running Office XP (Outlook 2002). Is Outlook 2003 even available without buying Office 2003?
