of the .NET Framework installed you could try removing the version 1 of .Net and see if that causes any problems.

But without knowing which version of Windows you are using or the Make & Model NB it's more than a bit difficult to suggest anything else.

We have an Eee PC notebook running on windows xp home edition 2002 version with service pack 3.

Other frameworks are
v1.0.3705
v2.0.50727
v3.0
v3.5

We've had the laptop for 6 months and this problem has just occured.
We have a sparse knowledge of pc's and software etc but we're trying our best to sort this.

Left Click on Start

Then Control Panel, change the next Window to Classic View on the top left hand side and then left click on Add Remove Programs.

When that Window Opens add a Tick to Show Updates and wait for the List to Populate. When it populates scroll down the list till you find the Version 1 ,Net Frame Work and go tot he Bottom of the Updates for that and then highlight the last Update and then left click on the Remove Option on the Right Hand Side. Repeat this process till you have removed all of Version 1 of the .Net Framework.

That's too simple.

Command presence is reserved for only the few.
