VB6.EXE - Application Error

When I pressed TAB key from the ActiveX, which will accept only numeric value, VB IDE throwing runtime error. Error details follows

VB6.EXE - Application Error

The instruction at "0x000e000e" referenced memory at "0x000e000e". The memory could not be "read".

Clik On OK to terminated the application
Clik on CANCEL to debug the Application


While Debugging, VC++ saying
Unhandled exception in VB6.exe : 0xC0000005 : Access violation

If entering a numeric value doesn't cause the error then try this, in the GotFocus event for the control set a harmless default value for the control, if there isn't a GotFocus event for the control then use an event belonging to a different controlto set the value of the problem control before it gets focus

Hi,
This is not an VB Error

This Error May occure because of insufficient memory on your machine, also this may happen if your line of code Tries to write in locked Area of the HDD.

you may Save this Application to Other Place on your HDD. and then Try to Run the Application. It will Run.

Earlier I have got this problem, using above method my code is now working fine.

This is not a VB Error.

In the ActiveX Control, Check the keydown event and check to exit sub when keycode is equal to the code of {TAB} key
