DHCP configurations problem
I am trying to set up DHCP server running NT 4.0 and SP6a. I have gonfigured the scope, DNS, and Default Gateway. However, when the first PC tries to get an IP address from the server. The DHCP server assigns the entirescope to the same MAC address, which is not the MAC address of the PC trying to get an IP, and it is labeled bad address. I have reinstalled DHCP on three different servers, without any luck. The same thing happened on all 3. I have reapplied the SP, and I have followed the steps to set up DHCP step by step according to MS. I am not repeating the same error every time I configure it. I have had it set up by three different techs in our group.
