I use VGA splitters to clone computer monitor images to an LCD overhead. Usually everything works great. Now I have an HP tower with DVI and VGA output and a monitor and LCD with VGA. Everything hooks up fine. Picture is fine until I turn off the LCD. The second the fan goes off, the monitor also goes out. I must disconnect the LCD from the splitter in order for the monitor to come back on. Any suggestions. I have changed the splitter and the monitor – no luck. On an older 15 inch monitor, I can’t get a picture at all. Resolution is 768×1024 which is what lcd is looking for. Thanks for any help.
