View hidden pc name on local network?

Is there a way to find/unhide a users pc name from the network? i’m trying to do an audit to a remote site,1 domain, but apparently the user somehow hid/changed his pc name and i cannot see what/where he is logged into.
windows xp
win2k/xp mixed domain
