View MDI File using c# .net

Can Anyone help to
View MDI File using c# .net
Is there a way to convert the mdi to jpg or a bmp using c# .net?
I coudnt open mdi file to display in a web page using c# .net it happens to open the Document Imaging S/w. Instead i wish to dispaly it directly in the page. Is there any possibility to convert MDI file to jpg or bmp file and spliting each image as seperate file???
Any idea?

Open it in office

and save it as something vaguely compatible, TIF is suggested.

You are fighting MS big style with this requirement, you are meant to use office, and nothing else so MS get a nice tech lock in and lots of money.

MDI is a modified TIF, so may if you get a component (with source) that copes with them, you might be able to hack a result. Course if MS twiddle with it, it's probably going to go nipples up, quick.

These guys have done it to PDF,
but you have to buy it.

Personally I'd stop using the format, not worth the effort.

There might be something in the .net office add ons, e.g load the document and do a save as, but then office must e installed, though if this is happening server side you can from .net 3.5 do it without worrying what is on the client.
