Virtual PC and Printers

Windows XP mode will not work with windows 7 home premium, but could i use virtual pc instead? i have a lexmark all in one X6150 and there's no driver for windows 7 for now and need to use it.

Yes you can this works with all versions of 7 Except Home Starter.

i have a lexmark all in one X6150 and there's no driver for windows 7 for now and need to use it.

You can make a XP Virtual Machine using a Install Copy of XP that you have a License for and it's Product Key and run your Lexmark printer as a XP Printer on your XP Virtual Machine. You'll need to install the Virtual PC on 7 before you start this though so you'll need to download that from the M$ Web Site.

I'm not sure if that is currently available At the Moment to members of the General Public but it is available to M$ Partners.

I have a "virtual pc" application that i downloaded from microsoft last year but i only use it for testing OS installation and performance, never tested a printer for example. At least i know now that there's light at the end of the tunnel lol.
